This Privacy Policy explains how evalaitools.com (“we”, “our” or “us”) handles information when you visit https://evalaitools.com. By using the site you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. If you email us or leave a comment, we receive your name, email address and the content of your message.
• Technical information. Like most websites, our servers and WordPress record standard technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time of the request.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. WordPress and our caching software may set functional cookies, for example when you leave a comment. Third-party services described below may also set cookies.

Tool ratings

Visitors can rate each tracked tool and each listed AI subscription from 1 to 5 stars. When you submit a rating, we store the number of stars you chose, without your name or any account. To stop the same person rating a tool more than once, we also store a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address combined with the tool or service being rated, together with the time of the rating. We do not store the IP address itself, and the hash cannot be turned back into it. The hash is used only to block a repeat rating of the same tool or service for 30 days and to limit each visitor to 20 ratings a day. Your browser also remembers locally which star rating you gave, so the page can show it to you again; this stays on your device and you can clear it by clearing your browser’s site data.

Advertising and Google AdSense

This site includes Google AdSense code. When ads are shown, Google and its partners may use cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Where the law requires your consent before advertising cookies are set, such as in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we will ask for it through a consent notice before personalized ads are shown.

Analytics

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read, how far people scroll and where they click, so we can improve the pages. Clarity collects usage data through first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies, including heatmaps and session recordings in which form inputs and text are masked by default. Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers that help us run the site, such as hosting and advertising partners, and when the law requires it. These providers have their own privacy policies. Our articles link to external websites that we do not control, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Data retention

We keep messages and comments for as long as needed to respond to them or to keep the discussion visible, and server logs for a limited period. Star ratings are kept as part of each tool’s totals. The hashes used to prevent repeat ratings only block a repeat for 30 days; we keep at most the 5,000 most recent hashes for each tool or service and discard older ones.

Your rights

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
