Claude Pro and Max: Price, Status and Outage History
Claude is Anthropic’s AI assistant, also used for coding through Claude Code. This page tracks what its paid plans cost, whether Anthropic’s status page reports a problem right now, and how many incidents Anthropic has posted. It updates automatically.
What the numbers say
The cheapest paid Claude plan we list, Pro, costs $20/mo; the most expensive individual or team plan we list, Max 20x, costs $200/mo. Pro is $17/mo billed yearly. Max 5x is $100/mo. These prices were copied from the official page on 16 October 2026 and are re-checked weekly. The provider’s status page lists 8 incidents in the last 30 days. Covers Claude apps, Claude Code and the API. The most recent one, “Issue with spend limits”, was posted on 7 October 2026. When we last checked, 2 minutes ago, it reported no ongoing problem. An incident can be anything from a short slowdown in one feature to a full outage, so the count shows how often the provider reported a problem, not how long or how serious it was.
